Autumn at Tillmouth Park

This is the time of year when every leaf becomes a spectacle. Nature’s very own firework display is seen at its best at Tillmouth Park, when leaves strip back their disguise of green to reveal their true identity.

You will find the region’s many attractions a bit quieter at this time of year as visitors undertake the various country pursuits on offer with walking, fishing and shooting available in both Northumberland and the Scottish Borders whilst a host of golf courses are only a short drive away. If horse riding is your passion, trek the local hills and lanes or gallop along the beaches, the choice is yours.

Autumn is when local organic grouse, pheasant and partridge appear on our menus. Spinach is in abundance and colourful berries, apples and figs are at their best, perfect for homemade compotes and chutneys. After a busy day out in the fresh air, what could be better than to relax on a comfy sofa with a pre-dinner drink deciding what to choose from the menu!
